Mobile Patrol Hero

Safeguard operates one of the largest mobile patrol fleets in Arizona. If you have a Safeguard Mobile Patrol Officer patrolling your neighborhood or utilize one of patrol monitoring services, you know these Officers provide an invaluable service that we can’t highlight enough. One such Officer, Matt Lingard, recently helped prevent a potential tragedy through his quick and decisive actions.

During an early morning patrol, Officer Lingard noticed flames coming from an open garage. He immediately notified our Monitoring Center which dispatched the local Police and Fire Department. Officer Lingard knocked on the door of the house whose garage was on fire and got the residents out of the home. The fire began to rage and it threatened the next door neighbor’s home where an elderly couple lived. As he was attempting to get them out of their home, the police arrived and together they got them out of harms way as well.
